
Alissa is a graduate of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, where she received her Master's degree in Physiotherapy. Prior, Alissa received an honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph.
Alissa has an interest and looks to continue to refine her skills through continuing education in areas such as acupuncture, manual therapy and concussion/vestibular rehabilitation. Being born and raised in Grimsby, Alissa looks to help improve the quality of life and function of her patients, so that they are able to get back to what they love to do and enjoy all Grimsby has to offer!
In her spare time, Alissa loves playing all sports and for the past several years has been a trainer for girls youth hockey. In 2023, Alissa travelled to Saskatchewan with the team, where the Stoney Creek Sabres U18 AA girls won the national title! Alissa also enjoys playing soccer, volleyball and has picked up a new love for pickleball. She also enjoys anything active outdoors and has a passion for traveling. Her recent travels included exploring all that Scandinavia has to offer!
